The Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds begins 2017 financially healthy and looking forward to a bright future. “With this solid forward momentum we thought it was time to start the process of reviewing and planning on how the Fairgrounds can best serve our community” said David Kegebein, Fairgrounds Manager.

The next Fairgrounds Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, February 28, at 6 PM. The main agenda item will be the first of several listening / learning sessions to explore the best possibilities for future land and facility use. Some of the first areas to be covered will include the auto racing area and baseball fields as well as increasing the number of events and grounds utilization.

The Fairgrounds board and staff encourage you to join them for what will be a very important and wide ranging discussion.
