The 2012 Fair theme celebrates the berry. During the past few decades berry production has grown exponentially in the fertile Pajaro Valley. The 2012 Fair will highlight the mighty berry and the importance of this delicious crop.

Acting Director of Fairs & Expositions Rebecca Desmond takes readers on a journey through the history of the Ag Fair. This great tradition stretches from September 1811 in Pittsfield, MA all the way to the start of our county fair this September 13, 2011.
